Enjoy the rich culture, history and beauty of Wales. We travel straight to North Wales and visit Conway Castle, one of the great impressive castles built in the 13th century by the English king Edward I. Then to the charming Victorian seaside town of Llandudno where we spend the afternoon. We then travel to the nearby university town of Bangor and our accommodation for the night and a free evening to enjoy some of its many good pubs and restaurants. On Sunday we travel along the coast, crossing over the Menai Straits to the island of Anglesey. We then enjoy the beautiful scenery as we drive through the Snowdonia National Park and past Mount Snowdon, the highest mountain in England and Wales. Finally, we travel to Llangollen and visit the nearby Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, built in 1805, the longest and highest aqueduct in Britain and, together with its canal, a World Heritage Site.
