Dublin Day trip
Legendary as a city that knows how to kick up its heels, Dublin’s buoyant streets buzz with the clink and chat of morning coffee and lunch, while come the evening the streets are transformed as people crowd the pavements enjoying the friendly and vibrant restaurants and bars. From museum-hopping, window-shopping, river-strolling and pub-crawling Dublin is a city with something to offer everyone.
We depart Friday night/Saturday morning and travel to Holyhead for our crossing to Dublin. Arriving in time for lunch, we drop you in the city centre where the afternoon and night are yours to do as you please. This capital city has much to offer. You may wish to visit Trinity College and see the famous Book of Kells or Christ Church Cathedral, founded around 1030AD to set the tone before exploring the Medieval Castle. Be sure to listen to the music, sample the Guinness and kick back with the Dubliners as you go! Take a relaxing stroll by the River Liffey to see a quayside catwalk of shiny modern architecture standing shoulder to shoulder with some of Dublin’s most historic structures. In the evening, enjoy a pint or two with the friendly locals but remember you have the coach journey home!! We meet again late at night and travel to the port for our sailing back to Holyhead in the early hours of Sunday Morning. We return to our pick up points Sunday lunchtime.
Please note, admissions to museums and monuments are not included.
