Visit Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare, and see the house where the world-famous playwright was born in 1564, as well as the church where he is now buried, along with other places of importance during his life. There is also the market and some great shops to explore and enjoy.

Filled with tales of torture, passion and power, and the backdrop to a wealth of fascinating people, times and events, Warwick Castle is a superb attraction. Experience preparations for battle, see richly decorated State Rooms, watch as a household gets ready for a Victorian party and discover how electricity was generated over 100 years ago to light up the castle.
